That is partly a design choice and partly just how this trip works. Group day tours from Buenos Aires are rare, because a shared bus needs everybody on the same flight, and a one-day visit is built around whichever flight pair happens to work for your date. Coordinating a coachload of people landing at different times, on a schedule with no slack in it, is a problem most operators sensibly decline.
What private actually buys you here
- Your pace. Longer at Devil’s Throat and shorter on the Upper Circuit, or the reverse, decided on the day rather than by a timetable
- Your interests. Someone who came for the birds and someone who came for the boat want different afternoons
- Adaptability. If the flight lands late, the guide reshuffles to protect whatever matters most to you. A group tour has its own schedule to keep
The practical upshot is that the published itinerary is a strong plan rather than a script. Devil’s Throat first, circuits after, lunch in the middle, but where you linger is yours to choose, and that flexibility is worth far more on a day this tight than it would be on an unhurried three-day visit.
